Math League is open to students in grades 9 - 12 and meets on Mondays and Thursdays from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM in room 214.
The SAVHS Math League team competes against other schools in timed individual and group tests. Problems are non-routine and require skills you've learned in math classes, formulas you learn during practice, and a lot of creativity.
The season runs from November through February, with five meets and the potential to go to the State Meet in March if we qualify. The meets are held on Mondays after school at division schools and usually are around a three hour commitment.
